London’s Design Museum is gearing up to launch their latest exhibition, centering around Spanish brand Camper, called Life on Foot. Opening on May 13, the exhibition talks about the European label which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and follows the history of the shoe from design to completion, having previously exhibited in New York. Design Museum has previously hosted successful footwear exhibitions by Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik, and the museum head of exhibitions Nina Due says, “whether people dare to admit it, we judge people by what they have on their feet. It’s fascinating to stand on a train platform eyeing up people’s shoes“.
