Desiigner (real name: Sidney Selby) was arrested in New York City on gun and drug charges. A few days later, the charges had been dropped (criminal possession of a loaded weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell).
But Desiigner still faced misdemeanor charges of menacing and criminal possession of a controlled substance. It was later reported that the remaining controlled-substance charge was based on false information – leading to the case being dropped.
