Finally, a romantic comedy for all the grumpy people out there! The first trailer of Destination Wedding promises a refreshing anti-rom-com for the summer, starring Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder as moody misanthropes.
The cynical duo meet on the way to the same wedding, and the encounter is something of a disaster: given how grouchy they both are, it is hate at first sight. (Un)fortunately, the unlikely romantic pair will have endure each other’s company throughout the whole event, as they get stuck sitting at the same table… And sure enough, hate will eventually turn to love.
In the trailer, we can see Reeves and Ryder bring hilarious bitterness to this uplifting look at modern romance. The film marks their fourth project as co-stars, 25 years after they first shared the screen in Dracula. We can’t wait for Destination Wedding to hit theaters in August!
