While building businesses, Dhan turned to music as a way to process life’s highs and lows. Inspired by artists like Nas, Lil Wayne, and Biggie, he found comfort and expression through lyrics, creating a collection of tracks that remained unreleased—until now.
Dhan grew up in Queens, where his father worked his way up from laborer to CEO of a major minority contracting company. The family moved to Long Island during their rise, but after his parents’ separation and legal challenges faced by his father, Dhan and his mother returned to Queens.
By 17, Dhan had witnessed both the challenges of urban life and the opportunities that come with determination. He pursued Business and Law at Hofstra University, launching a construction business in contracts within three years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he acquired a home healthcare company, where he grew its valuation.
Dhan Aziz approaches music with the same focus and determination that have defined his entrepreneurial career. As he steps into the Hip-hop, rap music scene, he intends to use his songs to tell more of his narrative by blending his unique perspective with his one viewpoints.
