Raf Simons, creative director of Dior, chose Le Palais Bulles, Pierre Cardin’s “Bubble Palace” in France, built by the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag, to showcase his 2016 resort collection. The collection melted into one with the architecture by combining a variety of textures, colors and transforming traditional pieces into something with a more keen spirit. The playfulness of the clothes along with the patchworking, crochet, the emblematic shoes and aesthetics lines showed how Simons is evolving in Dior itself and how he is inspire by nature in South France and the beautiful sky.
