In 2011, it was announced that Disturbed would go on an indefinite hiatus which was finally broken in June 2015. Their come-back album, Immortalized, was released two months later on August 21. After such a long break, the band have managed to stay relevant as the album soared to the top of the Billboard 200 album chart, making it their fifth consecutive album to do so.
To put this achievement in perspective, only two other bands (Metallica and Dave Matthews Band) have managed to maintain the same streak. The only Disturbed album which didn’t reach number 1 was their debut, The Sickness (though the single “Down With The Sickness” has received the most plays overall on Spotify and Last FM).
