During the late 90s and early 2000s, DMX was considered one of Hip-Hop’s elite, however a list of felonies and drug abuse over the years caused his demise. Now after multiple attempts to revive his career, the 44 year old New York rapper has once again found himself on the wrong side of the law. According to reports, DMX, formally known as Earl Simmons, owes more than $400,000 (£255,960) in child support and has also failed to comply with previous court orders. Showing no sympathy for X, Judge Deanne Tripi sentenced Simmons to six months in New York’s Erie County Holding Centre. Looks like the rough ride continues for the former Ruff Ryder front runner.
