Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Skrillex, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and many more have all been announced for the 2016 Grammys. One who will not be making the ceremony is rapper, Drake. He said, on Twitter, “I am not performing at the Grammy Awards…but hey it’s the thought that counts”.
Apparently, due to an advertisement that aired during Super Bowl 50, many thought he would be amongst the performers. This is not to be the case. With Rihanna likely to perform the lead single, “Work”, from her latest album, Anti, it was perhaps assumed, because Drake features in it, that he would be joining his former flame onstage. What’s more Drake is nominated for four Grammys, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album.
