Dubai Artist Yasmina Moonlight Unveils Debut Single ‘Habibi (My Baby)’

Yasmina Moonlight’s debut single “Habibi (My Baby)” emerges as a vivid narrative encapsulating the personal strength and resolve required to overcome a toxic relationship.

Released via LPME Records/Studios, this track blends rhythmic pop with Arabic percussion, spotlighting Yasmina’s vocal prowess and her ability to convey deep emotions through music. The single not only marks her bold entry into the music scene but also serves as an anthem for self-recognition and the painful yet empowering journey of moving past emotional adversity.

“Habibi (My Baby)” was born out of Yasmina’s own struggles with a past relationship that, while once filled with affection, ultimately proved harmful. Her candid lyrics reflect the duality of cherishing the warmth of love and the cold realization of its detrimental impact.

Produced by Moh Denebi, known for his work with European pop icons, and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Dave Kutch, the track is polished to meet international standards, enhancing its global appeal.

Yasmina’s craft goes beyond just her music; her multifaceted career includes notable appearances on X Factor Dubai and various acting roles, alongside significant endorsements from major beauty brands. This blend of cultural influences and personal storytelling positions Yasmina Moonlight not just as a musician but as a formidable artist to watch in the evolving landscape of global pop music.

Speaking about the inspiration for “Habibi (My Baby)”, Yasmina explains how it “was deeply inspired by my own experiences with a challenging relationship. It was incredibly hard to let go of someone who, despite their toxicity, had once made me feel loved and valued. I was blinded by the affection they gave me, making it difficult to see the negative aspects of the relationship.

This song represents a turning point for me – standing my ground and refusing to return to that toxic environment. It’s about finding strength in moving on and recognizing my own worth. Sometimes you have that sunken feeling in your heart missing that love, but there is no turning back now.”
