London-based producer and rapper, Suli Hyuga, is once again making waves in the UK’s vibrant music scene with his recent release, “+SET!+“. The single, dropped on 18th of August, marks the latest addition to his impressive and growing discography.
Following his live performances in 2022 and the futuristic sounds of his 2023 single, “+CHASE DA BAG+”, “+SET!+” is presented as a UK Garage (UKG) influenced track that carries a noticeable evolution in Suli’s technical prowess. The song features deep and resonant basslines, ethereal synths, and the crisp, rhythmic ticks of classic garage hi-hats.
Lyrically, “+SET!+” seems to be an intensely personal work. Suli uses the track as a platform to vocalize his journey as a young producer and rapper, and how he strives to break free from the expectations set upon him.
