Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe became parents on Wednesday when they were blessed with the arrival of their first daughter, the beautifully named Iris May Redmayne.
News of the pregnancy was announced back in January this year. Since then, the couple have been busying themselves “learning how to be parent”, as Redmayne put it, with the guidance of parenting books.
The birth of Iris May was confirmed today by the couple’s spokeswoman. We wish the family all the luck in the world throughout the journey of parenthood.
