Ellie Goulding has implied that she has completed work on the theme song for the latest James Bond movie Spectre. The 28-year old British singer uploaded an image of herself leaving Abbey Road studios on her Instagram account along with the caption “that’s a wrap“. Abbey Road is also where Adele recorded the theme for Skyfall. Sam Smith has recently been a favourire to record the new Bond theme song, however the image of Goulding leaving Abbey Road seems to put the odds in her favor. Spectre director Sam Mendes recently confirmed to the BBC that the theme had been recorded. He told BBC News, “I can say that the song’s been recorded and it’s fantastic and I’m very excited about it“. Spectre is released in the UK and Ireland on October 26.
