Ultra Music’s, Jack Casey, EMBRZ, releases the new visual for his track, ‘Heartlines‘ featuring vocals from Meadowlark.
As the leading single from his debut EP, Progress, this is a strong introduction. The saturated and colourful visuals of ‘Heartlines’ makes it a pleasure to view and fits comfortably with the tracks down-tempo beat. ‘Heartlines’ is for sure an interesting track that showcases EMBRZ many musical influences.
Listening to ‘Heartlines’, we’re getting a chill, electro-pop/indie feel from the track which, in some ways, should not come as a surprise given the already stellar line-up the Dublin-born 25 year old has worked with. Already making a name for himself as a very talented producer, EMBRZ has remixed tracks for the likes of The 1975, Oh Wonder, Carly Rae Jepsen and Ellie Goulding.
Talking about the track, ‘Heartlines,’ EMBRZ explains:
“I’ve always wanted to make something upbeat, something that would fit into the Indie / Pop spectrum. I love music that combines acoustic instruments and subtle electronic elements, which I think ‘Heartlines’ captures. The song really came to life when I sent the demo to Kate (from Meadowlark) who absolutely nailed the vocal. It’s different to some other releases, perhaps one of the ‘poppiest’ tracks I’ve made, but this fits the theme for the EP – crossing / putting my own spin on different genres.”
EMBRZ is definitely causing ripples in the music scene and ‘Heartlines’ is definitely a track for the summer. Watch the video down below and be sure to check out EMBRZ new EP, Progress, out July 7th.
