Yesterday, the New York City-based Estée Lauder Companies announced on its Instagram profile, the new face of the brand, and it is none other than the legendary model and fashion influencer Fei Fei Sun.

Fei Fei Sun follows the ranks of previous brand spokesmodels like Carolyn Murphy, Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner, Gabriella Wilde, Yang Mi, Hilary Rhoda, and Misty Copeland. She replaces the model Liu Wen who has worked with this beauty label for 7 years.
Estée Lauder said in a statement “Liu Wen was an important member of the Estée Lauder brand as a global spokesmodel for over seven years. She helped us connect with a new generation of consumers not only in her home country of China, but all around the world. We thank her for her incredible passion and dedication to our brand and wish her every success for her future“.
However, Sun is an excellent choice. With a long track record, she first emerged onto the international scene in 2008, representing China in Elite Model Look, one of the industry’s most influential modelling contests held by Elite Model Management, where she achieved third place in the world.
One year later, she made her international catwalk debut at the London Fashion Week, where she was selected by Karl Lagerfeld to walk in his Paris-Shanghai fashion show for Chanel.
Since that moment the model has collaborated with a lot of big names such as Dior, Céline, Hermès, DKNY, Calvin Klein and many more. Fei Fei is also the first Chinese model to appear on the cover of American, Italian, Japanese and Turkish Vogue.
Fei Fei, who also recently shared the announcement of this new partnership to all her fans, said “I am honoured to join the incredible women who represent the Estée Lauder brand. Growing up in China, I never believed I would represent such an iconic beauty brand. This is a dream come true“.
