Kim Kardashian and others cameo in new Fergie video, entitled “M.I.L.F. $”. Apparently the acronym stands for “Moms I’d Like To Follow”, basing more around empowerment than sexuality. This follows up on recent tracks “I’m Already Here” and “Hungry”. All feature on upcoming album, Double Dutchess, which is expected to be released later this year.
“M.I.L.F. $” opens with abrasive, sometimes puffy, clapping drums, with bottomless bass, bells and whistles. The halfway point stomps, like the crescendo to a house music song. Her singsong raps are seductive.
The accompanying visuals are definitely saucy, calling into question, if something not already established by listening to the song, whether the song is indeed about empowerment, and not actually just about sexuality. PVC clothing, plunging neckline, skin coloured clothing, to simulate nudity, and naughty teacher porno scenarios are just a sample.
