The ultimate nerd topic is close to hitting cinemas. On March 25, we will finally get to see who would win in a fight between Batman and Superman with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
A multitude of trailers have already been released which have expanded on the premise of the film, revealing that far from being as simple as its initial title would suggest, this will serve as ground zero for DC’s Cinematic Universe intended to rival Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.
In previous trailers we have caught a glimpse of Wonder Woman in action (finally!) and of the ultimate Superman villain Doomsday. Now, as the time draws near, we are given a final trailer. Yes, this really is the last one.
The final trailer reveals more of Batman beating thugs to a pulp in a more exaggerated and Zach Snyder-y style, a closer look at the incredible Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and more Batman/Superman badassery in general. There is definitely a focus on Batman and his arsenal in this trailer but it is still not known what trick is up his sleeve that allows him to go up against the man of steel.
However, we can soon find out on March 25. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. For a look at the last trailer, see it below.
