Director Paul Feig has a lot of pressure on him at the moment, Ghostbusters is a beloved franchise by many and his all-female reboot was met with trepidation by some. He couldn’t have got a better cast with the film set to star Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, and now first images have been released of the team’s new receptionist played by Thor himself Chris Hemsworth.
The image shows Hemsworth in the orange striped jumpsuit that we’ve already seen the girl team in, he’s got on some nerdy glasses as he rides on a scooter fixed with gadgets. The villain of the film has been revealed to be played by Fort Tilden who is hilarious in the Comedy Central comedy Broad City. Ghostbusters is scheduled to be released on July 15, 2016.
