The first few images of drama/rom-com hybrid Focus have appeared online and the chemistry between Wolf on Wall Street’s Margot Robbie, and leading man Will Smith is already hotting up. The two have teamed up on Glenn Ficarra and John Requa’s new movie where two con-artists start risking their fortune when they begin to fall in love.
Ficarra and Requa, both known for Crazy, Stupid, Love and I Love You Philip Morris, have teamed up once again to direct this romantic comedy and no doubt, they know this genre. Margo, who gained mega success after playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, is set to be a rising star and one to watch for the up and coming year and as always, Will Smith is a major movie seat seller.
The pictures don’t give too much of the plot away, but with a big name like Smith on the roster, we have high hopes. Co-starring Rodrigo Santoro and Robert Taylor, Focus is set to open in the UK on February 25, 2015.
