The first pictures of the new Ghostbusters cast have been released. The new movie starring Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon is currently filming in Boston. The photos come shortly after the film’s director Paul Feig teased us with a preview of the all new Ghostbusters ECT0-1and, a picture of the new uniforms. Wiig and McCarthy are rumoured to be playing “a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real“. Wiig’s character then goes on to get a teaching position at Columbia University, however her former book resurfaces and she is laughed out. Wiig then reunites with McCarthy and alongside McKinnon and Jones; they team up to save the world from ghosts. Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams and Matt Walsh also star in the film. Ghostbusters opens on July 22, 2016.
