2016 continues to look like a bumper year for the popular blockbuster with another new trailer. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a spin-off from the Harry Potter series. This film marks the screenwriting debut of author J.K. Rowling. The film will follow Newt Scamander played by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne as a magizoologist.
David Yates is back on directing duties after previously directing the last four Harry Potter films. It will be set in 1926 New York where some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape causing trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj (American for muggle) worlds. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them also stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell.
