The Irish duo The Ocelots have just released their latest single “The Switch”, delivering a track that sounds like a throwback to last decades indie rock anthems.
The band is formed of 22 year old twins Brandon and Ashley Watson, who created The Ocelots in 2016, when they began their musical career busking in Ireland first, and later on performing in the streets of different European countries.
Following their instinct for live performances, they continued their career setting up tours in intimate venues such as cafes, bars, churches and house concerts all across Europe.
In October 2017, The Ocelots dropped their first EP Till We Get There. Produced in a barn in Croatia, the 5 tracks EP paved their way for three intense years of touring, storytelling and songwriting.
After completing an intense six months tour, which saw them performing in different countries, from Germany to Australia, The Ocelots recorded their new album Started To Wonder, which will be released in March 2020.
“The Switch” is a captivating track with a fresh and honest folk sound perfectly mixed with engaging lyrics that will light up your mind.
Currently based in Leipzig, Germany, The Ocelots will head again to Australia this Spring, before joining the European festival season. Keep posted to join one of their engaging live performances.
