Franz Ferdinand and Sparks (FFS) have announced that they will be performing in London later this year. The group are going to be playing at The Forum in Kentish Town on September 8. Tickets for the event will be on sale on the 10th of July at 9am. FFS is formed up of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks and said in a statement about the group formation, “the real motivation was to make something new, not ‘Franz featuring Russell Mael’, or ‘Sparks with Franz Ferdinand backing them’“, said Alex Kapranos. The group released their self-titled debut album FFS last month. The FFS album was produced by John Congleton (St Vincent, David Byrne, Anna Calvi) and recorded at London’s RAK Studios.
