Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs is back with a new 3-track EP titled Pronto, it is his newest material since last year’s critically acclaimed Pinata collaboration with legendary producer Madlib. The EP’s title track sees Gibbs take a step away from Madlib’s soulful beats and head back towards a harsher electronic instrumental and rapping style that was typical of some of his previous releases. Pronto’s second and third tracks “White Range” and “Diamonds” have a cleaner, pleasanter sound however with the latter featuring vocalist Dana Williams.
