Tiphanie Doucet is a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist and also a captivating performer renowed for her soothing, melodic voice and original songwriting infused with a sensual French flair.
Among her notable works are her 2018 breakthrough single “Under My Sun”, the 2020 track “You and I” from her EP Paint It Blue, her rendition of the classic French song “Joe Le Taxi”, and her new album Letters.
Tiphanie began her music and film career journey in the performing arts has a dancer and actress, graduating from the prestigious Ballet Conservatory in Paris. She made her acting debut as a child in the French film Le Bébé d’Elsa and later starred in the French TV series Chante, which helped her gain popularity in France.
Additionally she toured professionally with productions like Romeo and Juliet and Hir, as well as serving as a backup dancer for iconic artist such as David Guetta and Prince, performing in large stadiums like Stade de France. With a deep passion for music, Tiphanie learned to play the harp, piano and guitar, making her transition into a music career.
She earned recognition in an editorial playlist in Rolling Stone France and showcased her remarkable vocal talent as a contestant on The Voice Canada, where judges praised her compelling performances before she was unfortunately eliminated during the battle rounds.
Taken from her new album, the creation of “Easy” embeds a soulful, biligual ballad, both sung in English and French. The track creates a sense of powerful emotions that links to finding love that feels effortless, and facing vulnerability as well. The track is a heartfelt song that is curated for anyone taken aback by the ease of love.
While back in France, Tiphanie continues to produce music from home, building a following through live-streamed performances. She eventually settled in the renowned St. Tropez, where she played over 50 shows throughout the summer, and has recently released her new concept album Letters.
