Gallery Circus just released their new music video for “Sugar”, the track is taken from their forthcoming EP CHI-TOWN DOGS which is being released via Killing Moon. “Sugar” follows previous single unveil by the twin brothers titled “The Flood”.
The video has been directed by Gavin Randall and is very darkly and seductive. Speaking about the new track, the band said: “We wrote ‘Sugar’ when touring across the UK last year. Although it may not be too obvious from the lyrics, the song reveals some of the darker moments of being on the road. Band members being in such close proximity for extended periods of time can create strain on relationships.”
This is a great song and performance; the melody is strong and tuneful, with a great drum solo that gives the typical scratch of a rock song. The performance quality is high throughout, both vocally and instrumentally. Watch the video below:
