The visuals, lighting, and camera techniques used in Garbage‘s new music video for “Empty” collaborate to produce the most captivating video I’ve seen in a long time. The band members are just performing on-stage, but the lights coupled with what is made to look like the band spinning are fantastic, and Shirley Manson‘s movements behind the mic make it look even better.
The Samuel Bayer-directed video was uploaded on May 23 and arrives less than a month before new album Strange Little Birds which drops on June 10 via Stunvolume.
