They also performed in major cities such as Istanbul and London, together with live shows at festivals like Montreux Jazz Festival and Eurosonic.
The talented German duo are known for their energetic music, featuring dark pop beats, playful piano elements and inspiring vocals. To cite one of their many praises, The Fader magazine stated: “If ÄTNA soundtracked the outros on a Netflix show, you’d want to wait to slap that Next Episode button”.
Introducing ÄTNA’s debut album MADE BY DESIRE, “Won’t Stop” is a powerful piece of electro-pop music with a captivating rhythm and inspiring vocals that grabs you from its first beats.
In times when people often call for strict borders, this track’s lyrics go against the tide, aiming to get people together. About the song, the duo said: “’Won’t Stop’ comes around like a daft funk hymn forcing us to seize the day and unite all humans!”.
The dramatic video of the track was filmed in Italy, close to the Croatian border, and reflects the feeling of alienation and anxiety at the base of the music. Nevertheless, as depicted in the lyrics, “Won’t Stop” shares a positive message of emancipation.
