The pop-electro artist Ghita born in Morocco and based in London, Los Angeles and Casablanca, has just released her new single “Out Of My Life”, with a video!
This artist was raised between Morocco and Switzerland. So she had an education in very contrasting cultures which influenced her musical style as well. She then left Switzerland to study at the Berklee College Of Music in Boston, then moved to Los Angeles.
The artist started to make herself known after 3 self-produced singles, but it was her title “HateULoveU” that really made her known. This title reached the Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50. She also opened for Maroon 5 at the Mawazine festival in Morocco.
Ghita draws her influences from artists such as Clash, PAPER, High Snobiety and Idolator. She makes pop, R&B, rap and sometimes hip-hop sounds. The artist is trilingual and therefore uses this advantage in her sounds. She expresses herself in her music through English, French and Arabic.
The pop song “Out Of My Life” talks about keeping a friendship with someone after the love relationship is over. It was produced by The Stereotypes production team, winner of a Grammy Award. The video, in which the artist comically plays the psychopath, was filmed in London by Jimi Drosinos.
