Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah’s grievance with Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO, Martin Shkreli, has continued after Ghostface called him a “shithead” last month. This was after Shkreli bought the sole copy of Wu-Tang Clan’s album, 2015’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, for $2 million at an auction.
Shkreli then responded with threats of physical violence. Ghost hit back, his grievance partly to do with the fact that Turing recently bumped up the cost of antiparasitic drug, Daraprim, by over 5,000%. This is used to tackle AIDS. Ghostface Killah said, “This is about AIDS right now. This is what you did to the people, to the American people and the people all over the world. I stand for them. I’m not gonna allow you to keep killing these people”.
