An animated video teaser for the new Godzilla film has been released. The new video teaser combines a previously released audio clip with new visuals to tease fans anticipating the film release. In the previously released Godzilla audio clip, actor Bryan Cranston’s voice can be heard as he relays an anxious-ridden, dramatic monologue describing the coming of Godzilla – “you’re lying! You’re hiding something out there! It was not an earthquake, it wasn’t a typhoon“.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the lead role alongside Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn, Juliette Binoche and Ken Watanabe. The screenplay is written by Drew Pearce, Max Borenstein and Frank Darabont, with the film being directed by Gareth Edwards. Following the teaser clip, it is revealed that ssome more Godzilla related content will be revealed on February 25 at 10am. The film will be released on May 16.
