Grieving, from Cambridge, are not as morbid as their name might suggest. With a nod towards late Nineties and early Noughties indie-rock and punk, their debut EP, Demonstrations, released last month, saw early support with several songs seeing plays at either BBC Radio 1 or 6 through Huw Stephens, Dan P Carter and Tom Ravenscroft.
The New Tusk described themselves as “lo fidelity short attention span punk”, with Pet Grief regarding themselves as “Slow Hands”. Members of Tellison, with whom Grieving tour in November, once worked in an arts cinema alongside two members of the latter. For more information on all dates, please see as shown below:
