The amazing Gruff Rhys has announced a new single “Liberty (Is Where We’ll Be)” which will be released on July 21st, it will be his second single from his highly acclaimed fourth solo album American Interior. The album tells the story of John Evans, a Welsh Explorer that went on a fantastical journey across the States to find a lost tribe of Welsh speaking Native Americans.
He has also announced a UK Tour that will begin on the 4th of September and end on the 21st of September. He will also be taking the story of John Evans to Glastonbury for a multi-media tour in this year’s festival, and after hitting Glasto, Gruff Rhys will be taking his talents on a UK tour which includes performances in churches, town halls and iconic venues including a show at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on September 20th that is already sold out.
