Hypelife just released their new single, “Uma Uma”. Since its founding in 2012, Hypelife, consists of French DJ-producers DJ Brice and Kim Jofferey, who have consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic music.
They are Known for their ability to blend genres seamlessly, the duo has carved a niche in the global music scene with their vibrant productions, innovative remixes, and memorable collaborations.The track is a captivating fusion of Afro house rhythms and modern production techniques, creating a sound that is both powerful and celebratory. Inspired by the Zulu word “Uma,” meaning “to begin” or “to be born.”

Before joining forces to create Hypelife, DJ Brice and Kim Jofferey were already well-established in the music industry. Their 2009 track “Take Me There” dominated Beatport’s overall chart for five consecutive weeks, earning support from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Axwell, Bob Sinclar, and David Guetta. The duo’s earlier works, such as “Rock the Dancefloor” (2010), were widely celebrated, laying the groundwork for their future collaborations as Hypelife.
The formation of Hypelife marked the beginning of an exciting chapter. From their impactful remixes like Jeremy de Koste’s “Forever” and “Rapstar” to original productions like “Matadora” with Papi Sanchez, the collective quickly gained recognition. Their 2013 release, “Pull Up,” in collaboration with Laotian singer Parisa, became a game-changer.
Accompanied by a colorful and humorous music video featuring the viral sensation, Serge Le Lama, the track climbed to the top 10 of the Yacast club charts and became a staple on national radio stations.From their roots in France to the wider music scene, Hypelife continues to explore new sounds and draw from diverse influences.
