Iggy Azalea has sadly confirmed that she has split up with fiancée, Nick Young. In a heart breaking Instagram post, the rapper admitted that although she still loved the NBA player, she was “unable” to trust him.
“Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned your entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page”.
Lakers player Young also seemingly confirmed the news on Twitter, writing just the word “single”. Speculation about the state of their engagement was in doubt recently after a video emerged of Young reportedly admitting to cheating with a 19-year-old girl.
However, Azalea confirmed at the time that they were still engaged, telling Ellen of the reports: “There always is [controversy]. But we’re good. There isn’t at home, just on the internet”.
Their engagement was revealed last year after Young popped the question on the rapper’s birthday and shared her reaction on Instagram.
