Sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner have announced they will be adding handbags to their fashion collection Kendall + Kylie. The range will include 18 new designs inspired by the girl’s individual styles and favourite travel destinations, including London, Toyko and the Californian coastline.
In addition to this, they will offer ‘speciality charms’ in homage to Kendall’s love for furry Fendi key chains. Ranging from $75 – $450, the designs are broad, from an embossed crocodile leather top handle bag to a bucket bag, leather backpack, and oversized clutch,
In a statement Kylie and Kendall said:
“Our handbag collection is super modern and pairs really well with pieces from our ready-to-wear and shoe collection for fall”. – Kendall
“I love that we played with all different sizes, from mini to large. A good handbag is functional and easy to use, without compromising the design or overall look”. – Kylie
This wouldn’t be the first time the Jenner’s have expanded their business. This week, Kylie announced her new metallic Coachella range as part of her Lipkit collection, which has received unstoppable success. The girls have collaborated before with both Topshop and PacSun before debuting their own contemporary fashion label earlier this year.
It’s growth has been rapid, and seems to be heading for promising success, releasing an exclusive collection for Neiman Marcus a week ago and not forgetting, producing a highly successful app. They have also individually collaborated with companies; Kendall with Estée Lauder and Calvin Klein and Kylie working with Puma. The bag collection of the Jenner empire is set to arrive at select retailers in August.
