Dublin based artist It’s Just Cat has released a new single “Not A Vibe”
“Not a Vibe”, bursting with self-assurance, is an amazing start to this fascinating new singer – bold, vibrant electro-pop with a killer climax, inspired by Ariana Grande and Remi Wolf.
The official video for the track was shot in Clontarf, Dublin and directed by Louis Maxwell, starring It’s Just Cat and a few of Dublin’s finest Drag Queens and an all-star LGBT cast including Donna Fella, Annie Queeries, and Shaqira Knightly.
According to It’s Just Cat, “Not a vibe is a representation of my own particular musical experiences. It’s a retort to those who have tried to duplicate me and told me I’m not strong sufficient.
The track’s upbeat energy expresses my undying confidence that I’m happier than ever while I’m making music, and the chorus celebrates the freedom I feel by cutting out those who bring unpleasant feelings. An emotion that is all mine and utterly untouchable“.
She is a BIMM Dublin music graduate who has been expanding her music career by touring the UK and Ireland, collaborating with a variety of well-known songwriters, while honing her live performance
It’s Just Cat is devoted to building a musical place where people are free to express themselves in whatever way they choose, while keeping her sound unique and developing her own style.
