Actor J.K. Simmons wowed audiences with his interpretation of the Daily Bugle Editor J. Jonah Jameson in previous ‘Spiderman’ films and may now be appearing in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’. Simmons appeared in the ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy which Sam Raimi directed and Tobey Maguire starred in as the leading man.
New director Marc Webb believes that no other actor can do better than Simmons in the role so has decided to bring him back. He admits that it is easier to replace the actor who played Spider-Man than it is to replace Newspaper Editor Jameson. For now, it is all speculation with Webb hoping to lure the actor back to the role. The third instalment will premiere in the UK on May 27, 2016.
