The Uk Music scene has been countlessly attacked for it’s lack of diversity and inclusion of Uk artists that seem to fall under the radar. Jack Garratt is a well known Brit critics choice award winner, as well as being one to watch for the coming years.
His words: “It is a hugely important part of UK music but it is a shame that half of UK music has been somehow forgotten about which is a bit disappointing and a little bit embarrassing to be honest”.
Marina and the Diamonds also suggested that the awards ceremony is sickening suggesting that: “The truth is the BRIT Awards is a CORPORATE award ceremony. Representing diversity is not a priority. Money is the priority”.
