It’s been an eventful week for Jason Wu, marrying long term boyfriend, Gustavo Rangel in Mexico this weekend. Whilst settling into married life, he has announced he will be launching a new collaborative collection with close friend, Diane Kruger. The range will be under his new sister label, Grey Jason Wu.
He announced the news via social media, posting on instagram; “Introducing #GREYJasonWu, a new sister label I’ve created that has been under wraps for the last 12 months. Very excited to finally share it with everyone – more to come soon!” It is rumoured that the collection will be released in Spring 2016 and priced between $295 and $1,395. The preview of his designs included simple loose cuts, cream, denim and stripes.
He told Vogue Magazine: “I often look to my friends for inspiration and I created this collection for women who look for beautifully made, well considered clothes that have a sense of whimsy and uncomplicated chic that suit their everyday lives”.
