South African wunderkind Jaydon Lewis, Nigerian afrobeats titan SPINALL, and soulful vocalist Julia Church have joined forces to create “All For You,” a groundbreaking amapiano track released on January 31 via Helix Records.
This cross-continental collaboration is more than just a song, it’s a cultural milestone, uniting South African and Nigerian sounds in a vibrant celebration of Afro-house music.
Jaydon Lewis, often dubbed “South Africa’s Martin Garrix,” has been a trailblazer in the electronic music scene since his teenage years. With over 500 million streams and a viral remix of Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better”, Jaydon has become a global ambassador for South African sounds. His latest project, “All For You,” blends amapiano rhythms with pop sensibilities, showcasing his ability to innovate while staying true to his roots.
SPINALL, one of Africa’s most influential DJs, brings his signature energy and groove to the track. Known for his high-octane performances and collaborations with artists like Summer Walker and DJ Snake, SPINALL has spent over a decade shaping the Afrobeat landscape. His contribution to “All For You” adds a layer of Nigerian flair, creating a seamless fusion of two powerhouse musical cultures.
Completing the trio is Julia Church, a South African-born, London-based singer-songwriter whose velvety vocals have graced tracks by Alok, Diplo, and Martin Garrix. Her emotive delivery on “All For You” captures the bittersweet essence of unrequited love, adding depth and soul to the track’s infectious rhythms.
“I wanted to create something that brings South African and Nigerian cultures together in a way that feels fresh and authentic,” says Jaydon. SPINALL echoes the sentiment, calling the track “a beautiful song best enjoyed on repeat.” Julia describes it as “a declaration of love and the envisionment of what life together could be.”
With its uplifting energy, heartfelt lyrics, and genre-defying sound, this collaboration is set to captivate listeners worldwide and solidify its creators as global icons.
