Rumour after rumour, story after story – it feels like the coverage of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is never ending (not that we’re complaining) but here’s something we haven’t heard before! Finally, we’ve got a little news of what Jeremy Iron‘s take on Alfred will be like. While recently attending the Marrakech International Film Festival, Iron teased about what we can expect from his up and coming performance.
According to THR, Irons had this to say; “He is quite a different Alfred than we have seen so far. Zack Snyder had very clear views about what he wanted. I would just say he’s more hands-on perhaps than just a butler”. This is pretty exciting! As much as we loved Michael Caine taking a more relaxed form of Alfred, we’re excited to see our favorite butler getting his hands dirty! Could director Zack Snyder be taking inspiration from DC Comic Earth One where Alfred is a more butler cum security man for The Wayne’s? We hope so!
