London born artist Joel Compass has emerged as one of the most exciting new artists working in the UK today. With a single in the top 40 charts, spots on an array of ones to watch lists, and YouTube views of over 2 million, the young artist is proving to be more then just a guy with a great voice. And now the singer, songwriter and producer is ready to drop his latest single “Girlfriends” – which was produced by the Invisible Men – on the 15th of September via Outsiders/Polydor.
“Girlfriends” had its first play as Zane Lowe’s ‘Future Exclusive’ last night on BBC Radio 1, and that is surely just the beginning for this up-tempo summer tune with its utterly infectious chorus, not to mention the incredible bass line and Joel’s stunning falsettos that we have all come so accustomed to.
