The elusive John Wayne makes his return with the brand new music video to his latest number, entitled “The New London”. The track tinkles forebodingly, with that element dropping out for deep bass and rattling rattlesnake drum. There is use of autotune, though Wayne can definitely sing aswell as rap. The fadeout is like the score for a horror film.
In terms of the visuals, by Zach Grav and edited by Wayne himself, they are moody. It is shot at night, lights illuminating the scene. Effects used frame by frame include an occasional grey effect, as if to replicate an old film reel flicking past to create a motion picture.
