The 58th edition of the Grammy Awards Show has set our expectations really high this time: it has been announced that Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Guns N’ Roses’ member Duff McKagan, and Aerosmith’s lead guitarist Joe Perry will come together as a supergroup to play a tribute to Lemmy Kilmister the night of the show.
The band, named Hollywood Vampires, was formed in 2015 with the purpose of honoring music rock stars, as said by Alice Cooper. “We started this band as a means to toast our ‘dead drunk friends’ at the Rainbow, all the ghosts in the bar, and now I guess Lemmy is involved in that, too,” he told Rolling Stones in a recent interview.
The Grammy Awards Show will take place in Los Angeles on February 15 and it will be broadcast on CBS.
