Since her hospitalization on the 31st of March, many have speculated over what caused Joni Mitchell’s extended stay. Such conjectures as a heart attack or a stroke have now been shown to be untrue as a source close to the contemporary folk singer have revealed that she has suffered a brain aneurysm. The 71-year old singer is now to be moved to a rehab centre and is said to still be in a “very serious” condition. Previously, sources had reported that Mitchell was close to being allowed home, but this was seemingly a rumour following recent developments.
