Jordan has officially presented its full Holiday 2020 retro collection. The reveal of the retro collection follows the one of the Jumpman’s Holiday 2020 modern collection. It is composed of twelve Air Jordan pair of shoes, combining different iterations of the historical Air Jordan shoes, and high-tech constructions.
The new pairs feature fresh makeups and colour flips, and all bring back classic Jordan designs. The game on colours is very important on all pairs, and new looks are bringing back to life some old brand styles.
Among these new shoes, four pair of Air Jordan 1 were released, three men’s and one women’s. These include the CO. JP Midnight Navy pair with its memorable colourway. The pair was first released in 2001 and returns with a metallic silver Swoosh and a jewel-finished Wings logo.
One of the main highlights of this “new” collection is the return of the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 4, which features the iconic “Nike Air” branding on the heel for the first time since it was originally released.
The collection also offers women’s exclusive new Air Jordan 8. The pair features the iconic chenille fabric patch on the tongue. The Burgundy accents added to the shoe is a reference to a colour that is deeply rooted in the Jordan brand history, and contribute in making the Air Jordan 8 a gorgeous pair.
This new collection is set to be available on the online Nike store later this autumn.
