Supermodel, Jourdan Dunn has designed her first 22-piece childrens wear range for Marks and Spencer. The playfully entitled ‘Lil’ LonDunn’ clothing is designed for girls and boys aged 5 to 16. They are set to launch this month, and have taken influence from the scenes of London with an urban, upbeat feel. The 25 year old said she was inspired by her 6 year old son, Riley, who modelled the collection for the campaign shoot.
In an interview with her fashion homeland, Vogue magazine, the iconic British cover girl said: “I’ve been a big fan of M&S since I was young and have fond memories visiting our local store with my mum as a kid… My collection is inspired by London and has the cool, urban vibe that I look for when choosing clothes for Riley. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work on this project with such a big British retailer, and I can’t wait to see the clothes on Riley and all his friends”.
The collection is part of a clothing series, ‘M&S &…’, with fellow fashionista Alexa Chung announcing her ‘Archive by Alexa’ collaboration collection with the company this week.
