US singer Joyce Wrice and producer Kaytranada have teamed up for the second time for a refreshing new single titled “Iced Tea“.
Kaytranada had already collaborated with Joyce on her first album Overgrown for the track “Kaytra’s Interlude“. The album can be spotted in Rated R&B’s ‘Best R&B Albums of 2021’ list.
Joyce Wrice took the opportunity to collaborate again with Kaytranada during Lucky Daye’s ‘Candydrip’ tour.
About the collaboration, the young singer said “It’s been exactly a year since the release of my debut album Overgrown and I couldn’t be more excited to share with the world another collaboration with KAYTRANADA!”
The track puts into spotlight, Joyce’s soft voice, which frees her to travel along percussive beats that give refreshing vibes to the track.
According to Joyce, “‘Iced Tea’ is a fun dance record where I’m stepping into my divine feminine with the hopes to empower women to be free and stand their ground.”
Alongside performing on Daye’s tour, Joyce Wrice is set to perform at huge festivals in the summer such as the Sol Blume Festival and the Broccoli City Festival.
Wrice also recently had the chance to sing the theme song of the Disney film The Proud Family titled “Louder and Prouder“.
