If there has ever been a time I have wanted that “Old Thing Back” it’s when I heard part two of Juelz Santana’s track where he originally featured New York’s finest in Method Man, Redman, Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss. Although I am a fan of “Santana Bandana“; I felt part 2 was not necessary, no offense to DONQ.
Nonetheless, I do love the fact that Juelz is sticking to the 90s East Coast hip-hop sound. I think it is necessary for those of us (like myself) who still enjoy those rugged yet lyrically creative verses and classic beats.
Hip-hop has changed vastly over the last ten years but it is good to see that artists like Juelz can still spit that fire and make your head bang. Have a listen for yourself:
