20 year old singer/producer July 7 has finally shared the follow-up to his stellar debut EP Sweets, in the form of brand new track “Delirious“. Having to follow-up such a major release as Sweets can be a daunting task, with break out tracks like “Diamond Chandeliers” and the Latin inflected “Pronto” contributing to millions streams across multiple platforms. But his latest track is strong.
“Delirious” truly blends a myriad of sounds and styles with a slickness like no other. The Manchester native’s effortlessly smooth vocals are paired with a Latin inspired production, making for a jam that nods to the likes of Jeremih and Drake. Experimental and creative, this groove with definitely grow on you.
July 7 is credible in his own right; having crafted beats for hip hop royalty like Travis Scott, T.I. and Young Thug, as well as co-signs on Joe Budden’s Podcast and Pharrell Williams’ take over on OVO Sound Radio.
